EDIT NOTE

From us to you

Mother & Baby - - CONTENTS - Swati Chopra Vikamsey Editor

Dear readers, It feels so good to be back home, to my first baby ever – Mother and Baby India. It’s been an adventurous two years that I have been away bringing up and caring for my own little one. My little elf is two! And that’s how long I’ve been away from what I loved the most. But then, now, what I love the most has changed! So, now you and I have something in common. We are both mums, and we both have a ton of questions and some experiential wisdom to share. Boy, what a ride this has been! Watch out for my little story, of a roller coaster of a ride as I embarked upon my journey to motherhood, in the forthcoming issues of your favourite parenting magazine.

But until then, let’s kickstart this whole new issue with some chill dust. We at M&B understand how important it is for you to unwind despite the turmoils that pregnancy and parenthood may bring. So, while we focus on comfort and relaxation for expectant as well as new mothers, we never forget that a mum must do what a mum must do. We, therefore, talk about your li’l one’s security with as much seriousness as we do about maintaining your sanctity. We sneak in some hacks to make your life simpler even as we guide you on creating a fine balance between work and play for your child. We calm your nerves if it worries you that your toddler chooses your spouse over you, and yet we teach you how to soothe your baby when she cries.

As always there’s enough to keep you busy, and some more to keep your munchkin engaged. Do what you must, but remember to take it easy. Not only will your calm rub off your precious, it’s a great way to live!

Until next time then, Cheers
