Po­tain and Grove cranes in­spire sales at Turk­ish trade fair Ko­matek


Po­tain and Grove cranes were show­cased at in­ter­na­tional con­struc­tion equip­ment trade fair, omatek 17, in Ankara, Turkey, this May. Man­i­towoc was rep­re­sented at the show through two of its Turk­ish deal­ers, stan­bul-based Te­knoV inç and Ankara-based arun. Po­tain distrib­u­tor, Te­knoV inç, dis­played a Hup -2 7 and a MDT 19 at the show, while Grove distrib­u­tor, arun, pre­sented a GMK .

Grove dealer, arun, also had a suc­cess­ful show. “Grove cranes are highly re­garded in Turkey, with pop­u­lar mod­els in the coun­try that in­clude the GMK , GMK 410 -1, and GMK all-ter­rain cranes, as well as rough-ter­rain cranes from t to 70 t,” said rkun ztuna, gen­eral man­ager of arun. “We ex­hib­ited a GMK at omatek, and af­ter the show, it was de­liv­ered to its new owner, Sahin Hidro­lik. There are now 15 GMK units in Turkey, mak­ing it one of the most pop­u­lar choices in the six-axle cat­e­gory.”
