Huawei launches new flag­ship smart­phone model with three rear cam­eras

Multi­na­tional telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions equip­ment com­pany, Huawei, has un­veiled its lat­est smart­phone – the P20 Pro. Be­ing the com­pany’s flag­ship smart­phone model, the de­vice comes with high-end spec­i­fi­ca­tions.

It has a 15.49cm (6.1-inch) near bezel-less, full HD+ OLED dis­play and a ‘notch’ at the top which in­cludes a front-fac­ing cam­era, sen­sors and re­ceivers, apart from a fin­ger­print sen­sor at the bot­tom.

The smart­phone is based on An­droid 8.1 Oreo and runs

EMUI 8.1.

The com­pany claims this smart­phone is the first to fea­ture three rear cam­eras, which in­clude a 20MP mono­chrome cam­era with a f/1.6 aper­ture, a 40MP RGB cam­era with a f/1.8 aper­ture and an 8MP tele­photo cam­era with a f/2.4 aper­ture.

A user can also record slow­mo­tion videos at 960 frames per sec­ond, and take self­ies with the 24MP front-fac­ing cam­era with a f/2.0 aper­ture. Pow­ered by an octa-core Kirin 970 pro­ces­sor, the P20 Pro comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB of in­built stor­age, which can be ex­panded up to 256GB via mi­croSD card.

The smart­phone has a large 4000mAh bat­tery to en­sure long hours of us­age, and comes with

3G, 4G, Wi-Fi and Blue­tooth con­nec­tiv­ity.

Avail­able in Twi­light Black, Mid­night Blue and Pink Gold, the Huawei P20 Pro can be pur­chased via on­line and re­tail stores.
