Publi­cis was asked to create an un­con­ven­tional out­door ad­ver­tise­ment to create aware­ness for Garnier’s new cure for parched and dam­aged Hair-the new Garnier Fruc­tis Oil Re­pair. Thus the agency cre­ated an un­usual ad to con­vey the mes­sage of cur­ing parched and dam­aged hair with Garnier Fruc­tis Oil Re­pair. Bales of straw are usu­ally wrapped with clean white ban­deroles. The idea was to use this space to com­mu­ni­cate the mes­sage, so bales of straw were se­lected next to well fre­quented roads and foot­paths lead­ing into towns or shop­ping ar­eas. This at­tracted a lot of at­ten­tion and word-of-mouth rec­om­men­da­tion
