For tele­com cat­e­gory data seg­ment has be­come very im­por­tant post 3 G launch, all top ser­vice providers have been do­ing com­mu­ni­ca­tion high­light­ing their ef­fi­cient data card. Idea Cel­lu­lar too has come up with their 3 G data card known as Net­set­ter com­mu­ni­ca­tion with a well spread out OOH cam­paign where more than 75 towns were cov­ered. To pro­mote the same a clut­ter breaking OOH cam­paign was ideated and ex­e­cuted, by Lowe which is the creative agency and Bates Wall­street the Out­door agency. The cam­paign saw a first of its kind in­no­va­tion at one of the Big Cin­ema screens at Ameer­pet, Hy­der­abad where the en­tire screen has been con­verted into a Lap­top. With the key­board cre­ated at the bot­tom of the screen and a Net­set­ter plugged into it, the en­tire setup gives an au­then­tic feel to every­body present in the au­di­to­rium that they are watch­ing the film on a lap­top. This is a won­der­ful ex­am­ple of creative though process where medium is per­fectly used to por­tray the con­cept without fid­dling with the ba­sic medium and its de­liv­er­ables. The whole con­cept brings a smile to your face where a sim­ple mes­sage “Watch your movie seam­lessly on your lap­top with Idea Net­set­ter.”
