PayTM launches busi­ness app aimed at small mer­chants

Days af­ter the launch of What­sApp Busi­ness App Paytm has come up with a sim­i­lar ap­pli­ca­tion. The dig­i­tal pay­ments net­work has launched Paytm Busi­ness App for An­droid users which lets new mer­chants sign up quickly and get a Paytm QR code. The app also al­lows mer­chants to man­age their day-to-day trans­ac­tions.

Our Paytm for Busi­ness app is an­other step to­wards sim­pli­fy­ing pay­ments for the coun­try’s vast and di­verse busi­ness part­ner com­mu­nity. It will make man­ag­ing day-to-day busi­ness op­er­a­tions sim­pler for our part­ner mer­chants and of­fer them the peace of mind that comes with hav­ing a dependable one-stop so­lu­tion. All needs rang­ing from seam­less ac­cep­tance of var­i­ous pay­ment modes to day-wise set­tle­ment summary have been taken care of.”

Paytm for Busi­ness app also al­lows mer­chants to raise sup­port tick­ets, check the sta­tus of ex­ist­ing tick­ets, browse through com­mon FAQs, and get pri­or­ity ac­cess to Mer­chant Helpdesk. Paytm says that the mer­chants and busi­nesses will be able to ac­cept pay­ments with zero com­mis­sion charges. The app also of­fers cash­less KYC on­board­ing.

Ad­di­tion­ally, all part­ners can ac­cept pay­ments through QR code via pay­ment meth­ods such as Paytm, UPI, credit card, and debit card. While there is an ini­tial monthly pay­ment re­ceiv­ing limit of Rs 50,000, it can be fur­ther in­creased with a cus­tom re­quest. Cur­rently, the app is avail­able in more than 10 lan­guages.
