Group Celebrates Success of Digiflex Machine in India
Digiflex with electronic feed system- a next gen technology
The production of any garment becomes ten times more difficult if the technology in use does not support it with the right kind of features and performance driven factors. Also, with the increase in challenges post GST and slow market growth, the need to have the most efficient machines with high output has become very important.
Brother is working in accordance with its tagline which says: ‘brother at your side’, since the company has always tried to come up with something innovative for its customer base. In India, the company enjoys a particularly good market share as the customers who buy machinery from the company usually remain loyal to it. In fact, they say that the machine is like an investment which definitely gives good returns.
The BROTHER group recently celebrated in Bangalore the success of their Digiflex series that they had introduced around two years ago. The machines which come with an electronic feed system have been highly appreciated by the industry at large. Speaking to Perfect Sourcing, randeep Sahani, gm, brother international said, “We have sold 15 thousand machines since we launched this technology two years back, we have letters and feedback from people saying their production has increased by 7-12% after installing the machine.”

He also mentioned that the Digiflex Feed enhanced machines have received a great response mainly because Digiflex is based on an electronic feed system. “Digiflex Feed is a direct electronic feed control, meaning that it has an electronic steering feed motion that enables the machines to move in a particular manner. This helps in efficient stitching and increases production,” added Randeep.
The extravaganza saw the presence of the who’s who in the apparel industry, including Gokaldas Exports, Jockey India, Gap India, Texport Syndicate, Shahi Exports and several others. Devraj, Senior Strategy analyst, gap inc. said, “The Digiflex machines has proved to be really useful as we have seen its performance especially in men’s wear.” Speaking on the same lines, Suresh babu C., Senior general Manager- CMD & projects, said “We have been using Brother machines for a long time and we are satisfied with its performance and output.”
