Pause Opens Flag­ship Store in Mum­bai

Pause, the fash­ion brand known for its min­i­mal­is­tic de­signs, has opened its first brick and mor­tar store in Mum­bai. The brand was set up by Neha Modi and Neha Tham and was pre­vi­ously func­tional only on­line through own e-com­merce store as well as fea­tur­ing in other bou­tiques. The brand launched its first phys­i­cal store on Septem­ber 9.The shop is sit­u­ated in the Pali Vil­lage area of Ban­dra West, Mum­bai, which is a quiet, sub­ur­ban neigh­bor­hood that is well- known for other renowned In­dian la­bels.

Af­ter cel­e­brat­ing the shop’s open­ing, a list of events have al­ready been planned to take place at the space. The fastest up­com­ing event is a styling ses­sion with celebrity stylists Aastha Sharma and Mo­hit Rai which will hap­pen in some time at the store. The brand is known for pro­duc­ing gar­ments that are en­vi­ron­men­tally friendly and uses sus­tain­able ma­te­ri­als such as wood pulp. The brand fo­cuses on earthy tones and loose shapes as well as denim and urges their cus­tomers to “take a pause” and re­lax in their ca­sual at­tire.
