The Digiflex S7300 A Nexio

Single Needle Direct Drive Lock Stitcher with Digiflex Electronic Feeding System and Thread Trimmer, was the world’s first lock stitch sewing machine to have adopted the Digiflex Feed Control directly connected to a stepping motor. This facility was next seen on the S7250A machine.

The Nexio and Digiflex S7250A machines are seeing very good response. The machines incorporate patented technology with a pulse motor, give consistent SPI and have a two way trimmer. Moreover, the machines have an automatic material thickness sensor that detects the thickness of fabric while sewing and helps in reduction of clogging. Also, since the machines have horizontal movement, needle breakage is reduced by more than 45%. A lot of patterns can be created as per choice creating a new value for a garment.

Equipped with a colour LCD touch panel for intuitive operation, it offers a new value with design stitch. The machine also enhances operability with a new hand stitch. The horizontal feeding system motion can be changed with one touch of a button to provide best sewing quality for various materials. Furthermore, the sewing stitch length can be digitised, stabilising the stitches. The new hook with improved thread cast off enables expansion of the sewing range for medium materials. It also enhances the sewing capability for heavy materials. Up to 9 sewing patterns can be easily set and stored with this function. When an error occurs, the error message and solution are displayed on the panel.

As per the data shared by company during the presentation, a factory producing shirts using Digiflex could see an increase of 10 to 14% in productivity, a trouser factory a 9- 12% increase, jeans factory a 7 to 11% increase and a polo t-shirt factory an 8 to 12% increase. ““Using Digiflex even if one is able to increase productivity by 6% the returns will be 300 dollar per machine within six months”
