Bangalore based Amith Garment Services, a company well-known for offering testing and quality checking instruments, will be presenting at Garment Technology Expo 2018 a range of detergents which are used while checking the quality and testing of yarns, fibres and fabrics. Biological detergents contain enzymes that help break down the fatty, greasy and starchy compounds that are found in some of the most common clothing stains such as pasta sauces, motorcycle oil and hamburger grease. These enzymes work to lift the stains out of fabrics, making them excellent stain removers, thereby turning stain removal into a quick and easy task. Among some of detergents that will be on display is Tide Plus Beach, which is an original scented liquid laundry detergent that offers good cleaning and gives fabrics a brighter look and whiter sheen after just one wash.

Tide Mountain Spring is infused with floral and woody notes for a pleasant fragrance and good looks. Another variety, Skip Detergent was the first automatic washing powder in South Africa, when washing machines were introduced in that country in the 1960s. “This detergent penetrates deep into the heart of fibres, coating the fabric and strengthens each individual strand,” informed Jagadeesh, Owner, amith Garment

Services.

Apart from these three, Clorox 2 Stain Remover and Color Booster, Persil Non- Bio, Attack Detergent Powder, Persil Bio, Cascade Detergent, Ariel Actifit, Cascade Persil Scent, Persil Color Megaperls, Verivide and Verivide 5574 paint are some other varieties that will be available at the stall. “Yvette

Detergent uses non-bio detergents to keep baby clothes soft and to reduce the risk of irritation to delicate baby skin,” he added.

Different types of commercial detergents are used by consumers in different countries. Indian garment manufacturers have to procure, stock, and test these detergents in their laboratories for colour fastness, dimensional stability and other tests before using them.
