Turel Group to Bring Shang Gong Group’s Latest Machines to India
Turel Group is a complete solution provider that brings latest technologies for sectors such as garments, luggage, automobiles, upholstery, home furnishing and heavy duty machinery. Turel offers end to end solutions and consultation from the drawing board to selection of machines, utilities with correct specifications, ordering machinery and their installation, providing training to operators and trial runs before handing over the project. Turel Group is involved wherever there is an application for needle and thread, besides seamless coverage of all segments.
The company has introduced and brought to India many leading brands to India including Brother, Duerkopp Adler, Kansai Special, Kingtex, Naomoto, Supercrease, Typical, Vibemac and more. Moving ahead, the group has now tied up with leading groups from China such as Shang Gong Group Co.,
Ltd., which, as Shanggong
(Europe) Holding Corp. Gmbh, owns well-known global high-end brands in the sewing machinery industry like Duerkopp Adler, PFAFF and KSL, besides a small stake in Stoll.
In 2018, Turel Group is looking to introduce two new brands in India, namely Mauser Spezial Sewing Machines and DAMSH Automats. While Mauser is an entry level sewing machine company in the footwear and heavier industries where they have a leading range of tried and tested flatbed and postbed sewing solutions, DAMSH
Automats covering is ideal for shirts and trousers.
Viraf turel, Managing Director, turel Group , explained “With these variants, we are aiming to capture every segment of the market.” The new brands will not clash with existing technologies the company already represents, as the market segments and price differentiation make the target group very different.”
He says that the new association started during his meeting with Zhang Min, Chairman and CEO, Shanggong Group at the recent CISMA 2017 in Shanghai. “At
CISMA, I came to know about brands DAMSH and Mauser Spezial. Their working and potential excited me, so I decided to bring these machines to India and represent them.”
The primarily Chinese
Shanggong Group has, over the last few years, taken over the responsibility of foreign brands like KSL, Duerkopp Adler, Gemsy SG, Beisler and PFAFF. While Gemsy SG and Mauser Spezial are Chinese brands, the rest are German. The company makes world-class machines in China at competitive prices. Turel feels the ‘Made in
China’ label will not, in any way, erode the value of Mauser Spezial.
Meant for both export and domestic markets, Mauser’s value will be augmented by the level of after-sales service to be provided by the Turel Group. The company will train its technical team on the highly automated machines and gain knowledge about its working and specifications well before the machines even reach the Indian market. Installation and handing will be managed by trained technicians. To further strengthen the support service for Mauser, Shanggong is planning to open a representative office in India. “I will give comprehensive support - pre-sales (an application engineer will train the operators about the machine), after-sales, and post after-sales to help them get the maximum out of the machine,” added Turel.
