Ster­ling and Wil­son to set up 50 MW so­lar power plant in Andhra Pradesh

Ster­ling and Wil­son has been awarded with the con­tract to set up a 50 MW so­lar power plant by NTPC near Kadiri, Anan­ta­pur, in Andhra Pradesh. Ster­ling and Wil­son will use do­mes­tic cells and mod­ules for this pro­ject in ac­cor­dance with PM Naren­dra Modi’s theme of “Make in In­dia”, thereby ex­tend­ing a help­ing hand to the In­dian cells and mod­ule in­dus­try.

Bikesh Ogra, Pres­i­dent, Ster­ling and Wil­son, Elec­tri­cal and So­lar Busi­ness said, “It’s a hon­our to part­ner with NTPC and be en­trusted with the re­spon­si­bil­ity of set­ting up their 50 MWp So­lar PV pro­ject in Anan­ta­pur.” Ster­ling and Wil­son is ex­pected to com­plete the pro­ject within 12 months from the date of com­mence­ment of work.
