Gamesa signs tur­bine sup­ply pact

Gamesa has re­port­edly signed a new con­tract in China for the sup­ply of 100 MW to He­bei Con­struc­tion and In­vest­ment Group (HCIG). Un­der the terms of the con­tract signed with HCIG, Gamesa will sup­ply, in­stall and com­mis­sion 50 of its G97-2.0 MW tur­bines at the Feng­di­anzhiqing wind farm, lo­cated in Zhangji­akou, in the province of He­bei. These 50 tur­bines are due for de­liv­ery dur­ing the third quar­ter of 2015, while the wind farm is slated for com­mis­sion­ing in the fol­low­ing quar­ter. Since 2008, Gamesa has signed or­ders for the sup­ply of 250 MW to HCIG, the largest op­er­a­tor in the province of He­bei and a top 10 player at the na­tional level.
