Regen wins Rs 500 crore order from Malpani group
ReGen Powertech Private Ltd announced the finalisation of orders worth Rs 500 crore from Malpani Group for a 75 MW project to be executed in Madhya Pradesh. ReGen with its very successful 1.5 MW V87 turbine had supplied another project for Malpani group which was commissioned in March 2015. Since its inception, it has been focussing on the Independent Power Producers (IPP) market for wind energy in India and has gained a leadership position in this segment. The company have already installed more than 1800 MW in India and 45 MW in Sri Lanka being the largest player in that market. Wind turbines manufactured by ReGen with technology from Vensys Energy AG, Germany has proven to be one of the best turbines suited for the low wind regime prevalent in India. SKF’s office in Pune, has been awarded the highest possible Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating – Platinum – by the Indian Green Building Council. The building’s envelope material and lighting help it exceed LEED’s baseline building standards by approximately 60%. In total, 65% of the building’s electricity comes from roof-top solar panels and at peak office hours, it is energy neutral, as 100% of its power requirement is drawn from solar energy.
