Dan­foss In­dia inks MoU with NPC to pro­mote en­ergy ef­fi­ciency

“A re­cent in­dus­try re­port sug­gests that ba­sis the cur­rent con­sump­tion pat­tern the en­ergy de­mand from in­dus­tries in In­dia is ex­pected to grow to about 5397 TWh/yr by 2027. How­ever, if in­dus­tries can fur­ther strengthen their ap­proach to­wards en­ergy ef­fi­ciency, we can ex­pect the de­mand to re­duce to 5143 TWh/ yr which is re­duc­tion of 254 TWh/yr -equiv­a­lent to ap­prox­i­mately 42333 mil­lion dol­lars. There­fore, the op­por­tu­ni­ties that en­ergy ef­fi­ciency hold for se­cur­ing the coun­try’s en­ergy de­mands are im­mense,” said Ravichan­dran Pu­rushothaman, Pres­i­dent, Dan­foss In­dia.

This col­lab­o­ra­tion comes at a time when more than 54 per cent of the coun­try’s pop­u­la­tion is below the age of 25 al­low­ing it with an op­por­tu­nity to pro­vide a skilled work­force to fill the ex­pected short­fall in the age­ing de­vel­oped world.
