Inox Wind bags Rs 2,000 crore or­ders

Inox Wind Ltd an­nounced new or­ders for the sup­ply and in­stal­la­tion of wind tur­bine gen­er­a­tors of 350 MW in to­tal to sev­eral re­peat cus­tomers. The or­ders cu­mu­la­tively are worth more than Rs 2,000 crore and are ex­pected to be com­mis­sioned by March 2017. The re­peat or­ders from some of the na­tion’s lead­ing in­de­pen­dent power pro­duc­ers and cor­po­rates fur­ther ce­ment Inox Wind’s lead­er­ship po­si­tion in the In­dian wind mar­ket.

“We are hon­oured to re­ceive these fresh or­ders from our ex­ist­ing cus­tomers. The or­ders bear tes­ti­mony to the com­pany’s strong cus­tomer fo­cussed ap­proach and the ver­sa­til­ity and re­li­a­bil­ity of Inox Wind’s tur­bines. Re­peat or­ders from some of the coun­try’s lead­ing re­new­ables play­ers cor­rob­o­rate Inox Wind’s abil­ity to pro­vide world class tech­no­log­i­cal so­lu­tions to its clients,” said Kailash Tarachan­dani, Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer of Inox Wind Ltd.
