Tata Power’s non-fos­sil op­er­at­ing ca­pac­ity climbs to 3060 MW

The com­pany’s to­tal gen­er­a­tion from non-fos­sil op­er­at­ing ca­pac­ity stands at 3060 MW, re­port­edly mak­ing it the largest RE com­pany in In­dia. The com­pany’s ro­bust non-fos­sil fuel port­fo­lio com­prises of 693 MW of hy­dro, 918 MW of so­lar, 1074 MW of wind and 375 MW of waste gas-based gen­er­a­tion.

TPSDI trains over 11,000 youth across In­dia: Tata Power through its skill de­vel­op­ment en­deav­our, Tata Power Skill De­vel­op­ment In­sti­tute (TPSDI), un­der­takes ac­tiv­i­ties to up­lift the eco­nomic con­di­tion of peo­ple es­pe­cially youth liv­ing in and around its op­er­a­tional ar­eas. On Na­tional Youth Day it man­aged to train more than 11,000 youth across the na­tion.

TPREL com­mis­sions two projects in AP and TN: TPREL has com­mis­sioned 36 MW wind ca­pac­ity of a 100 MW wind farm (un­der con­struc­tion) at Nim­ba­gallu in AP and 49 MW so­lar plant at Kay­athar in Tamil Nadu.
