Tata Power’s non-fossil operating capacity climbs to 3060 MW
The company’s total generation from non-fossil operating capacity stands at 3060 MW, reportedly making it the largest RE company in India. The company’s robust non-fossil fuel portfolio comprises of 693 MW of hydro, 918 MW of solar, 1074 MW of wind and 375 MW of waste gas-based generation.
TPSDI trains over 11,000 youth across India: Tata Power through its skill development endeavour, Tata Power Skill Development Institute (TPSDI), undertakes activities to uplift the economic condition of people especially youth living in and around its operational areas. On National Youth Day it managed to train more than 11,000 youth across the nation.
TPREL commissions two projects in AP and TN: TPREL has commissioned 36 MW wind capacity of a 100 MW wind farm (under construction) at Nimbagallu in AP and 49 MW solar plant at Kayathar in Tamil Nadu.
