Milk­bas­ket en­hances cus­tomer ex­pe­ri­ence us­ing voice buy­ing tech­nol­ogy

Daily gro­cery de­liv­ery ser­vice Milk­bas­ket an­nounced the use of voice buy­ing in the field of con­sumer tech­nol­ogy. Gro­cery buy­ers us­ing the de­liv­ery plat­form in In­dia can now place their or­ders us­ing voice com­mands only as the ser­vice can be used on Google As­sis­tant and will soon be avail­able on Ama­zon Alexa. With the ad­vent of voice-based tech­nolo­gies, the user re­ceives an in­com­pa­ra­ble ex­pe­ri­ence that re­duces or­der time by over 50%. The ini­tia­tive is set to as­sist users who aren’t as mo­bile savvy, as there is no need to un­lock a smart­phone and type in an or­der. This in­no­va­tive con­sumer in­ter­face will also ben­e­fit se­nior cit­i­zens and the vis­ually im­paired and will in­clude them in a buy­ing ecosys­tem which is in­creas­ingly con­sumer cen­tric. Co-founder & CEO Anant Goel com­mented on the ini­tia­tive and said, “Milk­bas­ket is syn­ony­mous to gro­cery and convenience for our cus­tomers and the in­tro­duc­tion of voice buy­ing fur­ther el­e­vates their ex­pe­ri­ence. This year is the year of rein­ven­tion for us, and we are proud to in­tro­duce the next-gen buy­ing ex­pe­ri­ence in In­dia.” In the near fu­ture, the firm is plan­ning on in­tro­duc­ing lo­gis­ti­cal ef­fi­cien­cies and last mile de­liv­ery ser­vices to cre­ate unique propo­si­tions in man­ag­ing user ex­pe­ri­ences at a num­ber of lo­ca­tions.
