ncreased efforts toward the development of next-generation mobile cranes are one of the major emerging trends in the mobile crane market. Several vendors are developing technologically advanced mobile cranes that have better control systems and are more efficient. This was announced by TechNavio, an independent techfocused global research firm in its latest market research report on the Global Mobile Crane Market 2014-2018.

“Several international companies are expanding their presence in developing countries to take advantage of the low-cost manufacturing, because of the global economic downturn,” said Faisal Ghaus, Vice President, TechNavio Research. “This has led to a rise in the demand for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings, increases the adoption of construction equipment worldwide generating demand for various highperformance cranes.”

Meanwhile, analysts at Research and Markets have forecast the global automated material handling equipment market to grow at a CAGR of 4.28 per cent over the period 2013-2018.
