Tata Power up­grades crit­i­cal Mum­bai power trans­mis­sion line

harat Heavy Elec­tri­cals Ltd has com­mis­sioned a 660-mw coal-based su­per­crit­i­cal ther­mal unit in Ut­tar Pradesh. The unit has been com­mis­sioned at the up­com­ing 3x660-mw Prayagraj su­per ther­mal power pro­ject at Bara in Al­la­habad district of Ut­tar Pradesh. The green­field ther­mal power pro­ject is owned by Prayagraj Power Gen­er­a­tion Com­pany Ltd (PPGCL), a sub­sidiary com­pany of Jaiprakash Power Ven­tures Ltd. The com­mis­sion­ing of this unit comes in suc­ces­sion of the syn­chro­niza­tion of two 660-mw su­per­crit­i­cal units at Ba­jaj Group’s Lal­it­pur STPP (3x660 mw) in Ut­tar Pradesh.
