Th­ese days, schools are like fac­to­ries, and merely con­cen­trate on com­plet­ing the por­tions as­signed, in­stead of teach­ing val­ues for a bet­ter so­ci­ety [Re­ally Use­ful School­ing, June]. Think­ing and tak­ing de­ci­sions are miles away for the stu­dents—only im­i­ta­tion be­comes im­por­tant. Also, chil­dren are of­ten too pam­pered, and to make them good cit­i­zens there is the need to ed­u­cate most par­ents as well.
