As everyone is aware, the year 2017 had been particularly hard for the real-estate sector. Investors made little to no money as the real-estate prices remained stagnant or dipped. The boost to affordable housing segment though was a silver lining for the sector. So was the increased capital flow due to the structural reforms in the sector. Many in the industry believe that this was a year that was challenging as well asfavourable, both for property buyers and developers. For Realty Plus, the year 2017 concluded with the successful finale of Realty Plus Conclave & Excellence Awards-south, held in Bengaluru. We are all set to start 2018 at a high note with the INEX Awards scheduled to be held in Mumbai in January. The details for the same you will find within the pages of this issue. In addition, many more new initiatives and upgrading of the existing products are on the anvil in the coming year. Realty Plus looks forward to a year of prosperity for the entire realty sector and wishes all its readers a very Happy New Year.
