WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS TO ENHANCE THE PRODUCTION TO THE NEXT LEVEL ?
By FY 2019-20, NCL has planned to enhance coal output to 110 Million Tonnes (MT) (approx.) as a part of 1BT production programme by CIL. Some of the steps envisaged to accomplish this task, are as follows: (a)expansion of existing Mega Projects viz. Jayant Open cast project (OCP) (to 20 Mtpa Cap), Dudhichua OCP (to 20 Mtpa), Block-b OCP (to 8 Mtpa). (b)enhancing production from Mega Projects like Amlohri OC (to 14 Mtpa), Nigahi (to 18.75 Mtpa) and Khadia OC (to 10 Mtpa), as per their sanctioned EC Capacity.
