Kis­sand­han opens of­fice in Asia’s ma­jor com­mod­ity mar­ket in Delhi

Kis­sand­han Agri Fi­nan­cial Ser­vices, a wholly owned sub­sidiary of So­han Lal Com­mod­ity Man­age­ment (SLCM), has re­cently opened its new of­fice at Naya Bazaar in Delhi. Kis­sand­han is one of In­dia’s largest Non Bank­ing Fi­nan­cial Com­pa­nies (NBFC) as­sists growth in the agri­cul­ture sec­tor by offering cus­tomised fi­nanc­ing so­lu­tions to its var­i­ous stake­hold­ers.

Kis­sand­han has opened this new of­fice with the ob­jec­tive of main­tain­ing a strong hold in Asia’s ma­jor com­mod­ity mar­ket. This is the sec­ond of­fice of Kis­sand­han in In­dia and the com­pany is now plan­ning to open of­fices in the ma­jor trad­ing hubs of North and Western In­dia.

Speak­ing at the open­ing func­tion, Su­mit Mukher­jee, Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer, Kis­sand­han, said, “As a farmer and agri­cul­ture prod­ucts’ fo­cused com­pany, we have been ex­tend­ing a help­ing hand to the farm­ers, and any­one en­gaged in farm­ing re­lated ac­tiv­i­ties through col­lat­eral fi­nanc­ing.

Open­ing of our of­fice right here at Naya Bazaar, in the heart of the com­mod­ity mar­ket is a win-win for us and the farm­ers and traders sell­ing their com­modi­ties here. We will con­tinue to sup­port the farm­ers and the en­tire agri-value chain to grow with a sus­tain­able ap­proach.”
