In­dian Cat­tle Breeds show­cased in Brazil Expo

Touched by the hos­pi­tal­ity and good­will it re­ceived across the Brazil and, a 17-mem­ber In­dian del­e­ga­tion has re­turned from Brazil re­cently with a re­newed de­sire for the pro­mo­tion of Desi (Zebu) In­dian cat­tle breeds. The team vis­ited the Expo Zebu 2017 at Uber­aba city, Brazil from on April 29, 2017. The Expo con­cluded on May 5, 2017.

The del­e­ga­tion led by ANKUSH, a non­profit or­gan­i­sa­tion, in­cludes by noted per­son­al­i­ties in the Live­stock sec­tor in­clud­ing Mem­bers of Na­tional Live­stock Mis­sion B Venu Gopal and Ghan­shyam. Farm­ers from Andhra Pradesh and Delhi along with Suresh Reddy Gen­eral Sec­re­tary, ANKUSH, Telangana were part of the del­e­ga­tion.

The tour in­cluded Farm Tours; Per­son­alised itin­er­ar­ies to farms, in­sem­i­na­tion cen­tres, and oth­ers as­so­ci­ated with the Brazil­ian Cat­tle project. With the theme 'New Paths to New Re­sults', this edi­tion of Ex­poZebu show­cased to the world sev­eral sus­tain­able busi­ness in­te­grat­ing part­ner­ships and pres­ence of zebu an­i­mals in dif­fer­ent trop­i­cal coun­tries.
