Serves 4 IN­GRE­DI­ENTS:

2 cups be­san, coarse ¼ cup me­thi leaves, chopped 1 tsp red chilli pow­der 1 tsp sugar 2 tsp co­rian­der seeds 1 tsp fen­nel seeds 6-8 black pep­per­corns, crushed ½ tbsp lemon juice A pinch of soda bi­car­bon­ate Salt to taste Water as re­quired Oil for deep fry­ing METHOD:

1. Mix all the in­gre­di­ents to­gether with re­quired amount of water (ap­prox­i­mately one forth cup). 2. Shape the mix­ture into small balls and deep fry in hot oil un­til golden and crisp. 3. Serve hot.
