DAKOR NA GOTA
Serves 4 INGREDIENTS:
2 cups besan, coarse ¼ cup methi leaves, chopped 1 tsp red chilli powder 1 tsp sugar 2 tsp coriander seeds 1 tsp fennel seeds 6-8 black peppercorns, crushed ½ tbsp lemon juice A pinch of soda bicarbonate Salt to taste Water as required Oil for deep frying METHOD:
1. Mix all the ingredients together with required amount of water (approximately one forth cup). 2. Shape the mixture into small balls and deep fry in hot oil until golden and crisp. 3. Serve hot.
