Dol­lar In­dus­tries Ltd Q1 re­sults wit­nesses more than 10% YoY in­crease in PAT.

Dol­lar In­dus­tries Lim­ited has reg­is­tered an in­crease in op­er­at­ing rev­enue of ₹ 243.65 crore for the quar­ter ended June 30, 2018 as against ₹ 235.07 crore dur­ing the cor­re­spond­ing pe­riod of FY 2017-18. The profit be­fore tax stood at ₹ 22.38 crore for Q1 as against ₹ 18.39 crore dur­ing the cor­re­spond­ing pe­riod of last year, a rise of ap­prox­i­mately 17%. The con­sol­i­dated profit af­ter tax stood at ₹ 13.80 crore for the cur­rent pe­riod as against ₹ 12.51 crore dur­ing the cor­re­spond­ing pe­riod last year, an im­pres­sive rise of ap­prox­i­mately 10.31%.

“The com­pany is shift­ing its fo­cus from pri­mary sales to sec­ondary sales. The jour­ney of the com­pany for achiev­ing its first 1000 crore was based upon fo­cus­ing on dis­tri­bu­tion and pri­mary sales, but now the com­pany is gear­ing up to fo­cus on in­creas­ing its re­tail base to achieve the next 1000 crore,” said Vinod Ku­mar Gupta, Manag­ing Di­rec­tor, Dol­lar In­dus­tries Lim­ited.

The com­pany has Missy, Big­boss, Cham­pion and Ultra Ther­mals un­der the brand Dol­lar and pre­mium brand Force NXT and Force Go Wear. The fo­cus of the com­pany lies in the ex­pan­sion of the prod­uct port­fo­lio of Force NXT, Dol­lar Missy and Dol­lar Big­boss.
