One of your guilty pleasures

A Shopaholic in all ways that says it all…true confessions of a Shopaholic.

What do you think is the key to professional success for women in India?

Hard work, Perseverance, Determination, Strength and Patience is what I feel is the key to success for women in India. Also utmost family support is really important. Without family support, nothing is achievable especially in our country.

My advise to you:

If u can’t fly, then run. If u can’t run, then walk. If u can’t walk, then crawl. But whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward. Follow your dreams; you will ultimately reach your goal.

What would be the theme for your next show?

What special offers would you create this year?

It would be an amalgamation of best selection of designers, promotions, marketing, quality service and to top it all, potential shoppers & buyers always. We are committed to offering business value to your brand, and look forward to a long-term, mutually beneficial relationships.

International participation and event attendance expected to grow at the next edition?

Fashion Capsule just had its first international Exhibition in London, UK on 19th & 20th May where established, emerging & renowned designers from India and London showcased their collection all under one roof. We can proudly state that most of the visitors left with a shopping bag full.

What could be the most important Reasons to Attend Fashion Capsule?

We carefully handpick our designers best suiting the market, who showcase their most recent collections as per season and trends. At Fashion Capsule u will find good mix of established and emerging designers from various fields.

Looking back, can you tell us about your greatest highlights so far?

My determination has paid good dividends. Fashion capsule shines like a bright star. A lot of it is because of what I believe in, I feel proud and equally humbled to share that FASHION CAPSULE won an award for the ‘Fashion Entrepreneur 2016’ felicitated by esteemed Shabana Azmi at an award function hosted by the Cancer Awareness Foundation. Also second time in a row for, ‘The Best Fashion and Lifestyle Exhibition’ award at the Ravishing Wedding Awards 2015 which was felicitated by Sushmita Sen. An another extremely proud moment was when URS, Asia One Magazine, honored Fashion Capsule and Mallika Jain as Worlds Greatest Brands & Leaders 2016-17, Chosen and reviewed by Pricewaterhousecoopers PL. All these awards stand testimony to my hard-work and commitment to Fashion Capsule’s exhibitors and shoppers alike. It has also been a privilege to be a guest speaker at various Fashion institutes where I have given my fashion advice to young budding fashion students.a 40 page COFFEE TABLE BOOK by THNK MKT MAGAZINE, a leading publishing house, wrote a book on me, my Life, achievements, growth and success.my Exhibitions have also been visited and appreciated by Bollywood Veteran Star Sridevi and Evelyn Sharma and important Politicians & Industrialists.

Advice would you give young women who want to follow a similar path as you?

“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams, Live the life you have imagined.” - Henry David Thoreau. It’s really important to talk to yourself and look at yourself in the mirror and love that you are. And it’s important to remember that we all have magic inside us.also I would like to add, I would give to women walking the path of empowerment would be to believe that you can achieve all your dreams and goals. Success starts in your mind. If you can’t see yourself achieving a lot, then it can never happen. You are your biggest cheerleader, so start with saying something positive about you and your day. So go ahead ladies, rise n Shine!!

Which Key characteristics do you see a female leader having?

I see someone who is strong, has leadership qualities and is a giver. I’ve interacted with a few influential women in the past, and one thing that they all have in common is that they are very generous; generous with their money, time and talents, which causes them to have true and fulfilling success. Apart from having ambition, determination n excellent communication skills, passion, and self expression. A female leader needs to have a VOICE… A women with voice is by definition is a strong women, but the search to find that voice can be remarkably difficult.

Your plans for the future? What’s next?

Lots planed for the future ahead in terms of new projects, expansions, diversification etc., Let there be scope for suspense for both your readers and my followers. Cheers!

“We carefully handpick our designers best suiting the market, who showcase their most recent collections as per season and trends.”
