Measuring attitudes to footwear product safety
Now in its second edition, the TÜV SÜD Safety Gauge is a revealing research study that analyses corporate product safety practices alongside consumer attitudes and experiences in relation to footwear. Conducted every 4 years, the study draws on research undertaken in 2012 and 2016 to provide a longitudinal perspective on the awareness, understanding and importance of footwear product safety.
This edition’s findings analyse and compare product safety in the Footwear segment in relation to 3 other segments – Children’s Products, Consumer Electronics and Food.
The results are based on extensive research in top-tier cities across China, India, the United States (U.S.) and – for the first time – Germany. To ensure impartial results, TÜV SÜD commissioned an independent research agency to undertake this research study.
