Footwear product safety now and in the future
Consumers were asked to rank the overall importance of product safety when purchasing footwear. Findings indicate that more than 4 in every 10 consumers believe product safety is ‘very important’. Furthermore, this is expected to increase by 5% over the next 5 years. By 2021, around 1 in every 2 consumers are expected to rate product safety as ‘very important’ when purchasing footwear.
