San Frissco goes Global

Footwear brand San Frissco is set to en­ter mar­kets in coun­tries like UAE, Sin­ga­pore, Malaysia and Canada. The brand has al­ready made its foray in UAE through ecom­merce plat­form Souq.com. San Frissco crossed a mark of 500 re­tail points in In­dia this fi­nan­cial year and has made a strong pres­ence in North In­dia dur­ing the last cou­ple of years.

Kuldeep Singh, Man­ag­ing Director San Frissco said,”we would be tar­get­ing atleast 10 re­tail chains on in­ter­na­tional level in the next two years. In­de­pen­dent stores are also in the pipe­line which re­quires an in­vest­ment of about ` 1.5 crore, and might go up to ` 2 crore as per the re­quire­ments, how­ever, only af­ter 2020. The brand aims to keep pace with the fast growing fash­ion which would gear up both in na­tional and in­ter­na­tional mar­kets. At present, we have a very strong mar­ket share in this seg­ment in In­dia.”

Ac­cord­ing to Kuldeep, San Frissco in fu­ture will take the off­line route as well in or­der to ex­pand its pres­ence glob­ally. As per an ear­lier state­ment, the brand has seen a growth of about 15-17 per cent in the closed footwear cat­e­gory in the last five years in com­par­i­son to the y-o-y. Com­fort, bun­dled with fash­ion, has come out as a more pop­u­lar life­style item among the com­mon peo­ple. The brand is look­ing at build­ing strong so­cial me­dia cam­paigns as well as ad­ver­to­rial pres­ence in 2018.
