San Frissco goes Global
Footwear brand San Frissco is set to enter markets in countries like UAE, Singapore, Malaysia and Canada. The brand has already made its foray in UAE through ecommerce platform Souq.com. San Frissco crossed a mark of 500 retail points in India this financial year and has made a strong presence in North India during the last couple of years.
Kuldeep Singh, Managing Director San Frissco said,”we would be targeting atleast 10 retail chains on international level in the next two years. Independent stores are also in the pipeline which requires an investment of about ` 1.5 crore, and might go up to ` 2 crore as per the requirements, however, only after 2020. The brand aims to keep pace with the fast growing fashion which would gear up both in national and international markets. At present, we have a very strong market share in this segment in India.”
According to Kuldeep, San Frissco in future will take the offline route as well in order to expand its presence globally. As per an earlier statement, the brand has seen a growth of about 15-17 per cent in the closed footwear category in the last five years in comparison to the y-o-y. Comfort, bundled with fashion, has come out as a more popular lifestyle item among the common people. The brand is looking at building strong social media campaigns as well as advertorial presence in 2018.
