Mon­zavi is the au­thor of High Fash­ion in Tehran and Women in Grap Gar­den Al­ley. Her work deals with home­less women that are cast off from so­ci­ety. “I try to show the con­trast be­tween the lives of these women and the rest of so­ci­ety,” wrote Mon­zavi. “They live on the fringe of so­ci­ety, as if they didn’t be­long to the same so­cial, cul­tural or fi­nan­cial sys­tem.”
