Fujifilm announces new mirrorless camera and kit lens
Fujifilm announced a new compact mirrorless camera, the X- M1. The camera uses the same 16MP APS- C size X-Trans CMOS sensor as the X- Pro1 and X- E1, but instead of the usual shutter speed and exposure compensation dials, the X- M1 uses twin electronic control dials to change exposure parameters. The X- M1 also has a 920,000 dot 3.0” tiltable LCD screen, but lacks an eye- level viewfinder. The camera ships with a brand new kit lens, the XC 16- 50mm F/ 3.6- 5.6 OIS, offering a 24- 75mm equivalent zoom range, but no aperture ring.
