Microsoft recently unveiled the upgraded Surface Pro X laptop in India. The device appears sleek and ultra-portable with its 2-in-1 design. The device provides the portability of a tablet, yet functioning as a high-end laptop with connected keyboard, mouse and pen.
Ther Surface Pro X features a Microsoft SQ1 processor, a 3 Ghz ARM quad-core processor based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx. Microsoft claims that it is 2.3 times faster than the previous generation and aimed to deliver best-in-class graphics performance. The device features an always connected LTE network for seamless communication. The Surface Pro X is optimised for Windows 10 and 64 bit applications such as Adobe Photoshop.
Powered by Qualcomm, the new custom delivers multitasking laptop performance, all-day battery life and fast Gigabit LTE and Wi-Fi connectivity with Snapdragon X24 modem.
The device features password-free Windows Hello facial sign-in, claimed to be fast and secure. It also supports full-speed SSDs for high performance and optimised capability. The Surface Pro X provides up to 16GB RAM.
The Surface Pro X weighs 774g and is 7.3mm thick. A 13-inch edge-toedge PixelSense display lets you carry it in any backpack. The display provides a 3:2 aspect ratio that allows you to maximise the work space and automatically adjusts to lighting conditions. The unit includes the Surface Pro X Signature Keyboard,
Surface Slim Pen and Surface Arc Mouse. The Surface Slim Pen is stored and recharged in the keyboard and supports software such as Adobe Gemini, Whiteboard and OneNote. The keyboard is complete with backlit keys and large multi-touch glass trackpad
The Surface Pro X provides an allday battery life of up to 13 hours, fast-charging to about 80% within an hour and LTE connectivity, making it a portable solution to your professional and business needs. It also features a solid-state drive and dual 4K video output via USB-C.
The Surface Pro X is available in Matte Black, and retails at a starting price of INR 98,999 (8/128GB).
