The recent entrant is Social, which represents everything Nehru Place is—a place full of thriving energy, a space for innovators to discover, a place for foodies to explore unlimited food and drinks, and a set-up absolutely perfect to sit back and enjoy. Spread across 4,490 sq. ft. area, Social is targeted at Delhi’s young professionals and budding entrepreneurs. To create the perfect backdrop for this requirement, Ar. Abhigyan Neogi, Principal Architect of Chromed Design Studio, was roped in. “According to the client, Social is a place that blends the best of ofce and café. Combining work and play, it’s an urban hangout designed to take you ofine, while still keeping you connected. It is a collaborative workspace, a hub for artists and innovators. So it had to be an everyday inspirational space, which also stressed upon reusing knick-knacks in tune with their common theme of being distinctive,” Abhigyan says, who took six months to come up with Social.
