Japanese architecture firm Nendo recently designed the Cofufun plaza for Tenri Station in Japan. The plan for 64,583 sq. ft. plaza was to design a space for local community and can also be used for events, gatherings and tourist information center. A lot of structures of concrete were prefabricated offsite and then installed. The various level of white buildings allow people to hang around with plenty of space option. One can climb on them or sit on the stairs and play etc. The circular buildings provides of ample space for siting. There is main building in this plaza where it houses lounge and study space, a play space for children and stage for concerts and event. There is also a small store to offer souvenirs. The furniture inside each of the building is crafted in wood.
