Interior designer Kelly Robinson has recently designed a new office for JOANY in Los Angeles, California. Her clients, a healthcare company, asked her to create a space that felt like home, but would also reflect health and vitality. The company’s icon, Joan of Arc finds a prominent position on the wall. Christine Carrillo, one of the founders of JOANY, pitched the idea of a Growroom. It is a spherical garden that empowers people to grow plants on the exterior and inside this spherical structure is a small bench with cushions. In the work area of the office, artist Jose Carrillo has created some custom street art. Another request made by the founders of JOANY was a quiet place, where employees who have had a tough or upsetting call or meeting could go and have some private time. The room acts as a library and meditation room.
