Ar­chi­tec­ture Build­ing Cul­ture has added a mod­ern twist to a his­toric 1905 home in Bea­con Hill, Seat­tle. THEY HAVE ADDED A WOODEN SEC­TION TO THE HOUSE, GIV­ING IT A trendier look and feel. The wooded sec­tion houses The Great Room THAT OPENS TO OUT­SIDE VIA A 36 FT long win­dow wall. The in­te­rior has an open plan — a kitchen, din­ing AND LIV­ING AREA, WITH A WALL OF wood cab­i­netry. Other than the ad­di­tion of The Great Room, the pro­ject also in­cludes a sec­ondary kitchen or util­ity room, pow­der room, master bed­room suite with ROOF DECK, REN­O­VATED BED­ROOMS and shared bath­room and IM­PROVE­MENTS TO THE EN­VE­LOPE OF the ex­ist­ing house.
