Another Dish on the Table

AFTER establishing his cuisine ventures—Benares and Sindhu in London, and receiving a Michelin Star, Chef Atul Kochhar opened Benares in Madrid, Rang Mahal in Dubai and recently launched his first casual diner NRI and Peruvian Bar Lounge LIMA in Mumbai. Now, the gourmet chef at the forefront of fine Indian cuisine, has opened his first Brit cuisine restaurant, Hawkyns, at Amersham, England. At Hawkyns, traditional British cuisine will be given a contemporary makeover with locally sourced and seasonal produce. The menu will be a combination of the British classic, with subtle accents of Atul’s own culinary heritage, making it an amalgamation to look forward to. “I’m incredibly excited about the opening of Hawkyns. This is going to be my first restaurant offering a modern approach to traditional British cuisine. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do,” says Atul Kochhar. Jolly good, we say!
