Decadence decoded

Aditya Khandelwl’s latest collection makes way for regalia. Red carpet gowns, draped dresses, sarees, lehengas and sherwanis, all return with a streak of deconstruction. The colour palette and patterns exude a fantastical air. Here’s for you to see and savour…

Aditya Khandelwal’s dream project ‘Adi’ stems from his urge to give Indian attire an innovative edge. One look at his creations and it’s not difficult to miss the fresh dimensions added to the good old Indian sarees and lehengas with new colours, patterns and drapes. Clearly, the designer believes in ageless attire and for him, clothes are all about the unmatched style of the person wearing them. No wonder then, that Mughda Godse, Gauhar Khan and VJ Andy love ‘Adi’. The fashion designer has also made a mark at the Lakme Fashion Week and Ethical Fashion Week held at the Carrousel du Louvre Paris with his creations.
