PGI Hosts Sec­ond Plat­inum Buyer-Seller Meet

Plat­inum Guild In­ter­na­tional (PGI) In­dia or­gan­ised the sec­ond sea­son of the Plat­inum Buyer-Seller Meet, a lead­ing plat­form for man­u­fac­tur­ers and re­tail­ers to ex­plore the wide range of plat­inum jew­ellery, from July 5th to 7th 2017 in Chen­nai. The aim of the meet was to show­case new prod­uct cat­e­gory op­por­tu­ni­ties, as well as in­tro­duce new de­signs de­vel­oped by man­u­fac­tur­ers for the up­com­ing fes­tive sea­son.

The meet com­menced with the ‘Sea­son of Love’ awards, where the key re­tail­ers and their staff, who pro­moted the cam­paign with en­thu­si­asm and con­trib­uted to the sales of plat­inum jew­ellery, were fe­lic­i­tated. The 2017 edi­tion of ‘Sea­son of Love’ was cel­e­brated across all lead­ing plat­inum jew­ellery re­tail­ers across In­dia, from May 15th to June 15th 2017 and had spe­cial of­fers avail­able for cus­tomers on the pur­chase of plat­inum jew­ellery. The num­ber of par­tic­i­pat­ing re­tail­ers grew from 140 doors last year to 600+ doors this year.

The meet wit­nessed par­tic­i­pa­tion from nine man­u­fac­tur­ers in­clud­ing Kama Schachter, BN Jewellers, Emer­ald, Tankaria’s, Uni-De­sign Jew­ellery, Prism Jew­ellery, Jewelex and Oro, who pre­sented a di­verse port­fo­lio of over 4,500 pieces to­gether that in­cluded a range of best­sellers and new de­vel­op­ments in core cat­e­gories like Love Bands, Evara and Men’s jew­ellery. The event was at­tended by lead­ing PGI strate­gic re­tail part­ners, which saw an over­whelm­ing turnout.
