The Thai Trade Center in Los Angeles is highlighting three Thai product groups that have strong demand in the US: Food, Fashion including clothing and jewellery, and Entertainment and Film. “The overseas office is focusing on gems and jewellery products which is one of the fashion product categories that play a huge part in exports from Thailand. The US market imports $59 billion-worth of jewellery annually, with Thailand accounting for $1,288 million, or only 2.2% of the total figure. On the other hand, Thailand is the country with the 13th highest imports of gems and jewellery products from the US,” Phivnil added.
