OSHKOSH IN­TRO­DUCES L-ATV UTIL­ITY VARI­ANT FOR JLTV PRO­GRAMME

The Oshkosh De­fense has in­tro­duced its light com­bat tac­ti­cal all-ter­rain ve­hi­cle (L-ATV) util­ity vari­ant for the US Army and Marine Corps multi­bil­lion-dol­lar joint light-tac­ti­cal ve­hi­cle (JLTV) pro­gramme. The newly in­tro­duced L-ATV util­ity ver­sion ad­dresses the JLTV re­quire­ment for a two-seat cargo ve­hi­cle, while the L-ATV base vari­ant ful­fils the four-seat multi-pur­pose ve­hi­cle needs. Both ver­sions fea­ture com­mon crew pro­tec­tion and ad­vanced au­to­mo­tive sys­tems, as well as the patented Oshkosh TAK-4i in­tel­li­gent in­de­pen­dent sus­pen­sion sys­tem to of­fer en­hanced lev­els of pro­tec­tion and off-road per­for­mance in a light ve­hi­cle.
