US ARMY CON­DUCTS LIVE FIRE DRILL US­ING STRYKER M1135 NBCRVS

The US Army’s 1st Ar­mored Brigade Com­bat Team (1ABCT) per­son­nel have con­ducted a live fire ex­er­cise us­ing the Stryker M1135 nu­clear, bi­o­log­i­cal and chem­i­cal re­con­nais­sance ve­hi­cles (NBCRVs) at the Ro­driguez live fire com­plex in South Korea. Pri­mar­ily aimed at build­ing and main­tain­ing soldiers’ op­er­a­tional readi­ness and ef­fec­tive­ness in op­er­at­ing NBCRVs, the week-long semi-an­nual train­ing event pre­pared the qual­i­fy­ing crews to han­dle their as­signed weapon sys­tems. Around 20

M1135 crews par­tic­i­pated in the train­ing, which in­cluded 18 crews from 23rd Chem­i­cal Bat­tal­ion, and two crews of the 1st Brigade Spe­cial Troops Bat­tal­ion, 1ABCT and 2nd In­fantry Di­vi­sion.
