Pa­triot’s suc­cess­ful in­te­gra­tion of PAC-3 MSE mis­sile

Raytheon Com­pany’s com­bat-proven Pa­triot air and mis­sile de­fence sys­tem suc­cess­fully test fired the PAC-3 MSE (mis­sile seg­ment en­hance­ment) mis­sile at White Sands Mis­sile Range, re­cently.

“Pa­triot con­tin­ues to suc­cess­fully demon­strate its ad­vanced ca­pa­bil­i­ties of in­te­grat­ing new tech­nolo­gies,” said San­jay Kapoor, Vice Pres­i­dent of In­te­grated Air and Mis­sile De­fense at Raytheon’s In­te­grated De­fense Sys­tems busi­ness. “This is the sev­enth time Pa­triot has test fired Lock­heed Martin’s PAC-3 MSE mis­sile, which will al­low Pa­triot to take on the more so­phis­ti­cated threats from rogue na­tions that threaten the safety and se­cu­rity of our warfight­ers and al­lies.”

Pa­triot is the world’s most ca­pa­ble air and mis­sile de­fense sys­tem, pro­vid­ing pro­tec­tion against a full range of ad­vanced threats, in­clud­ing air­craft, tac­ti­cal bal­lis­tic mis­siles, cruise mis­siles and un­manned aerial ve­hi­cles. It is the sys­tem of choice for 12 na­tions around the globe.
