TCS wins ra­dio or­der from US Army WIN-T


Ul­tra Elec­tron­ics, TCS has re­ceived a mul­ti­mil­lion award from US Army Warfighter In­for­ma­tion Net­workTac­ti­cal (WIN-T) for Ul­tra Orion GRC245C ra­dio sys­tems. These will ad­dress ter­res­trial trans­mis­sion re­quire­ments of the tac­ti­cal net­work mod­erni­sa­tion for Army Ex­pe­di­tionary Sig­nal Bat­tal­ions (ESB) to al­low sol­diers to seam­lessly com­mu­ni­cate be­tween WIN-T in­cre­ments and across ech­e­lons.

The GRC-245C ra­dio is a high ca­pac­ity, multi-chan­nel, multi-band, point-to-point, and point-to-mul­ti­point ra­dio sys­tem with on-the-move ca­pa­bil­i­ties. It is able to ef­fec­tively link the var­i­ous WIN-T in­cre­ments while si­mul­ta­ne­ously pro­vide suf­fi­ciently high-ca­pac­ity through­put to sup­port the Army’s trans­port con­ver­gence ob­jec­tives.
