How did M.S.Dhoni:TheUntold Story come to you? M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story came to me via a casting director. For me, the pre-requisite to do a film in Bollywood and have it called a comeback (which I know everyone is going to do) regardless of the length of the role, is that it has to be a brilliant director, a brilliant theme and a story that would stay forever. I am sure people are liking the film. The one thing I know for sure in my heart today, is that I work with my gut which is very strong. 20 years later, people will turn back to watch this film. So the kids who are 14 now, won’t have someone telling them about M. S. Dhoni, but they will have a movie to say it. So I think I have looked far into the future to do this film.
How was it working with Neeraj Pandey? Working with Neeraj (Pandey) was brilliant. He is one of those directors I’ve always wanted to work with and for me, it was a dream come true.
