I really liked Airlift as a film; do you think films play an important role in making people aware about incidents which they were earlier ignorant or uninformed about? — Shubhada Iyer (Banglore)
PURAB KOHLI: I was quite curious to see the business that Airlift did. It was really a path-breaking film, because it was far removed from anything Akshay Kumar has done before. In fact, even Special 26 and Baby were nothing like this film. These days, the audience is ready to see good content, so filmmakers can go ahead and make that kind of content. We have seen all different sorts of films doing well. Cinema is such a big part of our lives; most people have a Bollywood dream. So, what better way to tell a story than through a Hindi film?
