Dear SHAH RUKH KHAN

Stardust (English) - - MUSIC ROOM -

Since you hail from a theatre background, do you look back into your past to gauge, if it has something to add to your present character? Samina Khan (Patiala)

I did theatre when I was very young. There are a lot of things you learn in theatre, and those things stay on with you. A lot of the physicality of theatre like how to use space remains with you. For instance, a stage is very barren and you have to stand in the middle. There are no close-ups and you are surrounded by 200 people. It is very lonely because you are alone on stage and you need to perform. But that’s the beauty of theatre.
