How did you start your journey?

I started my journey with a workshop three months back and then went back to Raipur again. When I came back to Mumbai, everything was lost in transit. For six months I was staying at logo ke ghar pe so there was no pressure to pay. Then I got my first break as a model in a Cadbury ad then then KBC promos and Hero Motor corp. And my journey started!

Did you come across any obstacles in your initial days?

Ya I did. I didn’t know many people. People were like if you need do this, you have to pay for it. The casting couch exists big time but it’s in your hands if you want to take that route or not. But I have worked hard and here, I am!

Could you tell us something about your character in 3 Storeys?

I am playing the role of Suhail Ansari, a Muslim boy, who is madly in love with Malini. And her mom is shown to have a problem with Suhail. This film has got its own secrets and is an interesting watch.

Who has been your inspiration throughout your journey?

Shah Rukh Khan and Shahid Kapoor have been my biggest inspiration.
